MiLo, The Quiet Divide - XXL, an original acrylic painting (2026) by the Dutch artist, hand signed, measuring 150 cm high by 125 cm wide, in an abstract style, produced in the Netherlands and sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
MiLo (1976), Netherlands
The Quiet Divide
A restrained abstract composition built around a pale, tactile field interrupted by a single dark line.
Subtle drawn and scratched lines move across the surface, creating loose geometric forms that appear and disappear beneath the layered off-white paint. The central division introduces tension into an otherwise quiet composition, giving the work a sense of balance, separation and connection at the same time.
Minimal in colour but rich in surface detail, the painting changes with distance: from afar it reads as a calm graphic composition, while up close the marks, irregularities and layered traces become more visible.
The work can be presented in either a horizontal or vertical orientation, allowing the central line to function either as a horizon or as an axis.
About the artist
MiLo is a Dutch contemporary artist whose work explores abstraction through layered surfaces, scratched and drawn lines, reduced colour palettes and intuitive composition. His paintings often combine a raw, tactile quality with a strong sense of balance and graphic simplicity.
His work has found its way into private collections throughout Europe and internationally, including the United States, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Each painting is an original, one-of-a-kind work.
