Description from the seller
Combined shipping; If you purchase more works in the same auction you pay a SINGLE shipping
Giuseppe Gruciani (Rome, 1966)
Work - S.O.S
Mixed media, pigment inkjet, resin. collage on canvas
Signed on the front bottom right
with Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Artist
New, never framed
The artist Giuseppe Gruciani stands out in a context heavily frequented by the serial repetition of images, in the Rome of the post-boom economic expansion, where the public’s attention is captured by advertising billboards.
His artistic production is inextricably linked to his formation and life growth, and he manages to be recognizable thanks to an elegant painting even in the use of pop media.
Skillfully he employs various techniques to render the work homogeneous in structure and aesthetics.
For several years he has been drawn to the myth of Roman Pop Art, but his production diverges, in an international sense, in expression and influences.
More than ever today he stands out in the contemporary landscape,
with a distinct notoriety in the eastern United States and in northern Europe.
