Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration became a passion that needed to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne or Caviar) and Street Art, blurring even more the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
HAND-FINISHED “Sculpture manufactured for commercial purposes, retouched by hand by the artist XTC using acrylic paints.”
