Gorgeous set of two large, traditionally hand-painted Italian majolica wall plates, originating from the renowned ceramic studio M. Sambuco from the world-famous artists’ town of Deruta (Umbria).

The plates have an impressive diameter of over 27 cm and are decorated in a classical Renaissance style. The craftsmanship features refined profile portraits of a nobleman and a noblewoman, surrounded by richly colored ornaments and traditional motifs in vivid shades of blue, yellow, white and orange.
