XTC's sculpture Jerrican Clicquot Black, a hand-signed and numbered 11/30 steel jerrican (20L) finished with acrylic paints and varnish, measuring 35 × 47 × 17 cm, created in 2026 and in excellent condition with a COA.
Description from the seller
Very Large 20L Veuve Clicquot Noir Champagne Jerry Can by XTC.
Due to its size, it can be placed directly on the floor, a piece that will surely attract attention!
Only painted, no stickers for a homogeneous result and better durability over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The sent piece is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar.
Careful and tracked shipping.
Sculpture in commercially manufactured steel (jerrican) customized, hand-finished by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes. The edition number applies to the finish painted by the artist and not to the base object.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual pursuit turned into a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne or even caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He is inspired, among others, by Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work, including any minor dents.
