German-made Labelled Stainer 4/4 violin, built in the 1930s, in good physical condition and tested and functional, weight 430 g.
Description from the seller
Beautiful Saxon 4/4 violin from the Vogtland region (Ore Mountains), built in the 1930s. The violin is beautifully crafted and the original varnish has remained particularly lovely. Under the right F-hole there is a small repaired crack. Otherwise the violin is in great condition. The measurements are:
Total length. 58.5 cm
Mensur (scale length). 31.6 cm
Body (corpus). 35.8 cm
Waist. 11.3 cm
Width over. 16.8 cm
Width under. 21.0 cm
Violin and bows that are described as 'certified' or 'attributed' include images of their certificates and therefore have a higher degree of documented certainty regarding maker, provenance and age than instruments described only as 'branded' (violins) or 'stamped' (bows), for which we provide no guarantee.
