Here we have a superb 19th Century oil on canvas by the British artist Max Sinclair. The painting features a coastal scene of St. Pol, Brittany. In this incredible painting we have the detailed architecture of the buildings as the fishing boats unload their catch. As the tide recedes there’s a woman looking for shrimps or faggots and placing them in her basket. The artwork is signed lower right and titled verso. This beautiful piece painted by a very talented artist would grace any wall in your home.
In good condition for its age and comes framed. Please view the photos as part of the description. Note the frame is a gift no compensation given if damaged in transit.
