Description from the seller

Old French classroom wall geography map published by Librairie Armand Colin. Vidal Labache Collection (cartographer).
Scale: 1:5,000,000
Double-sided:
- front: physical and economic geography of the United States and Mexico, with indications of the main agricultural and natural regions. It shows the division of cultivation zones characteristic of the interwar period or the very early postwar period. It thus has historical interest.
- back: blank map used to quiz students.
These very sturdy cardboard maps were widely used in classrooms from the 1930s to the 1950s.
Good condition:
Nice patina and preserved colors.
No cracks or losses.
The metal hanging eyelets are original, and the cloth edge trim protecting the border is intact and not torn.
Nevertheless, as the photos show, this map shows signs of wear:
Small creases along the edge, with no real impact and a more noticeable crease in the bottom corner.
In addition, it shows dirt marks and stains, particularly on the border.
Dimensions: 99 cm x 120.
It will be shipped rolled, but not tightly rolled to avoid creases.
