This work is part of The Artphabet, an artistic project developed by the digital artist Cess, in which each letter of the alphabet pays homage to key figures in modern art and visual culture.

In this piece, the letter S is transformed into a tribute to Salvador Dalí, reinterpreting his iconic dreamlike language and his fascination with the distortion of time and reality. Typography becomes a fluid, organic object, evoking the aesthetics of the soft watches that defined his imagination.

The composition presents a structure that seems to melt, suspended above shapes reminiscent of branches or natural elements, generating a sense of instability and constant transformation. The surface incorporates temporal references —numbers and strokes— that deform and slide, suggesting the relativity of time and the fragility of perception.

The contrast between materials —soft surfaces, organic edges and golden details— adds a nearly tactile dimension, while the use of color reinforces the surreal atmosphere, placing the work in a space between dream and reality.

The three-dimensionality enhances this experience, transferring Dalí’s pictorial language to a digital sculptural environment where matter appears to defy the laws of physics, creating an image as familiar as it is unsettling.

The work has been created through a completely digital 3D process (CGI), handcrafted with particular attention to the fluidity of forms, texture and light interaction, achieving a precise, evocative and highly conceptual aesthetic.
