STORY OF AMERICA by Doctor GUGLIELMO ROBERTSON translated from the original English by Abbot Antonio Pillori, Florentine
4 volumes in Venice 1778 published by Giovanni Gatti
First volume: 32+240 pages, format 20 x 12 cm, plus map (map of the Gulf of Mexico, the islands and adjacent lands), size 53x38 cm, with a tear at the bottom center, 8 cm long, and some yellow stains. Yellow stains also inside the book.
Second volume: 328 pages, format 20x12 cm, plus map (map of South America) 36x47 cm, with a tear at the top right, 8 cm long.
Third volume: 360 pages, format 20x12 cm, plus map (map of the countries above the south sea from Panama to Guayaquil) 25x38 cm, with some yellowish halos.
Fourth volume: 298 pages, format 20x12 cm, plus two maps (map of Mexico or New Spain 40x30 and map of symbols of ancient civilizations 30x25 cm).
CONDITIONS The four books, as shown in the accompanying photos, are not in perfect condition. External bindings, especially on the spine, missing; pages yellowing; some tears in the maps. They remain perfectly usable and restorable.
