NINO - Banknotes - No reserve price, a 2026 original street art work on French banknotes, created with pochoir and aerosol, 13.5 × 26 cm, hand-signed, in excellent condition and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
The work “NINO” sits within an artistic approach that is both raw and sophisticated, using the one-dollar bill as a testing ground where finance meets the street. By diverting this iconic support, the artist does not simply paint on money; he reinterprets its symbolism, overlaying an urban, rebellious identity onto the institutional rigor of American currency. The distinctive grain of the banknote paper and its historical green hues serve as the base for a composition that seems determined to break free from it through the force of its colors and its graphics.
The visual complexity of “NINO” rests on an impressive technical mastery, requiring the meticulous application of eleven different stencils. This additional layer, compared to previous creations, allows for a deeper level of detail and a richer texture. Each layer of paint refines contrasts, shapes shadows, and gives the character a striking relief that almost seems to come to life on the mosaic of banknotes. The name “NINO” asserts itself at the center of this dynamic, like an indelible signature claiming its place and its own value in the face of the symbolic power of the dollar.
The banknotes are glued together on the back with repositionable tape. It is therefore very easy to remove them depending on how you display them.
Furnished with its certificate of authenticity.
IMPORTANT: The works are shipped with care, with insurance. Upon receipt of the package, please verify that everything is intact. If this is not the case, refuse the package. Otherwise I will not be able to trigger the insurance. If this is not the case, there are risks that I will be unable to do anything in the event of a dispute. It will be your responsibility.
