Murano - Sculpture, Chien couché - 7 cm - Uranium glass - 1960

This sculpture represents a magnificent multicolored dog in a lying position, crafted in Murano glass.

It was made in Italy in the middle of the 20th century (1960s–1970s) using the sommerso technique (which involves layering sheets of glass in different colors).

The glass is highly enriched with uranium, giving it a beautiful luminous and sparkling reaction under a UV lamp.
