In excellent condition: no cracks or chips, 2 small losses under the foot in the glaze of the maiolica as a manufacturing defect from the pouring phase, typical of artisanal maiolica (see photos)

No shipments to the United States because in Italy, due to the introduction of tariffs, there is no courier that allows sending goods to a private individual

Vincenzo Pinto (1870-1939), descendant of an ancient family of Vietri maiolica makers, was active in Vietri sul Mare from the late 19th century.
In 1910 he took over the family faience factory "Pizzicara", already run by him in lease under the name "I.C.A.M." (Industria Ceramiche Artistiche Meridionali), where he produced everyday ceramics of the type called "roba siciliana".
After creating numerous important ceramic panels for public and religious buildings in the early 1920s, assisted by his sons Giovanni and Raffaele, he began a broad artistic production.
In 1933 Vincenzo Pinto participated with some of his ceramics in the II Salernitana d'Arte.
In the early 1930s he opened his workshop to some members of the so-called "German Colony" of Vietri, including Irene Kowaliska and Barbara Margarethe Thewalt, who within the I.C.A.M. opened their own studio.
At the beginning of the 1930s the factory was led by Prof. Renato Rossi.
In 1937 some of his ceramics were exhibited at the VII National Craft Exhibition in Florence.
He died in Vietri Marina in 1939.
