Airport Bar at Night is a 40 × 40 cm giclée on canvas by Le Yack, limited to 20 copies, signed by the artist (front and back), in good condition, produced in France and shipped directly from the artist with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
This figurative work plunges us into the hushed, melancholic atmosphere of an airport bar at nightfall. Seated on a stool at a polished mahogany counter, a woman in a red dress sips a glass of wine, her gaze lost in the distance, suspended in the in-between of a journey. Her thoughtful posture and timeless refinement evoke waiting, the imminence of a departure or a farewell.
Behind the large glass wall, airplanes shimmer on the tarmac beneath a night-sky blue sky studded with orange lights. The hanging lamp diffuses a warm halo over the precious wood and the aligned bottles, shaping the volumes in a striking chiaroscuro. The contrast between the intimate solitude of the woman and the anonymous vastness of the nocturnal concourse creates a narrative tension decisively "Hopperian". An invitation to daydream, celebrating the poignant beauty of transit moments and traveling solitude.
