I work as a multidisciplinary artist, combining Video Art with plastic arts as artistic expressions. My works focus on feminist, Queer and LGBTQ+ discourses. In an EROTIC, ironic and transgressive way, these works aim to give visibility to these groups.
With more than twenty-five years of professional career, I have created and participated in solo and group Exhibitions and Festivals, in Spain and abroad. Consolidated as an essential name of Spanish contemporary art, I exhibited at ARCO 2005 and at the Málaga Film Festival 2006. Since then, my work has inhabited spaces of the highest national prestige, including a group exhibition at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, and I have been part of key events such as IVAM ELECTRA04 (Valencia), Art Tech Media’06, the Óptica Festival ’08, the IBAFF International Film Festival 2013 or Feminart II ’2018. In the commercial circuit, I have developed solid alliances with reference galleries such as Aural in Alicante, together with Babel and Léucade in the Region of Murcia (Spain), where I currently reside.
This artwork is titled: El Morreo 2 and is part of a collection of erotic reliefs titled / Desire and Passion. It measures 37 cm x 35 cm and weighs approximately 3 kilograms. The technique is clay modeling and then cast in plaster. The painting is acrylic in an off-white ivory color with a small transparent satin patina. It is being exhibited in different exhibitions in Benidorm, Alicante, Murcia and Madrid. It is delivered with a certificate of authenticity for the artwork. The piece is shipped in a cardboard box with well-protected packaging. It may have a few light marks as it is entirely handmade.
