I work as a multidisciplinary artist, combining Video Art with the plastic arts as artistic expressions. My works focus on feminist, Queer and LGBTQ+ discourses. In an EROTIC, ironic and transgressive way, these works aim to give visibility to these groups.
With more than twenty-five years of professional career, I have created and participated in solo and festival exhibitions, and many others, both in Spain and abroad. Consolidated as an indispensable name in Spanish contemporary art, I exhibited at ARCO 2005 and at the Málaga Film Festival 2006. Since then, my work has inhabited spaces of great national prestige, including a group exhibition at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, and I have been part of key events such as IVAM ELECTRA04 (Valencia), Art Tech Media'06, the Óptica Festival'08, the International Film Festival IBAFF 2013 or Feminart II'2018. In the commercial circuit, I have developed solid partnerships with leading galleries such as Aural in Alicante, together with Babel and Léucade in the Region of Murcia, where I currently reside.
This artwork is titled: El Toqueteo and is part of a collection of erotic reliefs titled / Desire and Passion. Measurements: 30 cm x 30 cm and it weighs approximately 3 kilograms. The technique is clay modeling and subsequently cast in plaster. The painting is acrylic in bright colors with a small transparent satin patina. The back is lined with green velvet. It is being exhibited in different shows, in Benidorm, Alicante, Murcia and Madrid. It comes with an authenticity certificate for the artwork. The piece is shipped in a cardboard box with well-protected packaging. It may have a slight mark as it is all handmade.
