Michielotto - Centrepiece (2) - Glass - Rare & Sumptuous Ensemble

Magnificent and very rare vintage art glass set from the famous Michielotto manufactory. An exceptional artisanal work dating from the 1980s/1990s.

The two pieces feature a rough, frosted, and highly organic outer texture (scavo/pulegoso style) with superb colored glass threads embedded in the mass. The close-up photos beautifully highlight this complex pulegoso technique, characterized by countless controlled air bubbles. Conversely, the interior of both pieces is perfectly smooth and glossy, creating a striking contrast.

The objects are very heavy, thick, and massive (heavy art glass), which testifies to their high-quality handmade craftsmanship. Authenticity is guaranteed by the original signature “Michielotto” hand-engraved with a diamond-tip on the base of EACH piece (see photos).

- Large centerpiece / dining table centerpiece: diameter 35 cm, height 13 cm
- Large vase: height 34 cm

Condition:
Excellent general vintage condition. Note: a very slight micro-chip (type “flea bite”) is present on the rim of the vase. It is barely noticeable and is clearly indicated in the close-up photo with the pen. Apart from this tiny defect, there is no other chipping or cracks on either piece, and the glass retains its superb brilliance under light.

Each object will be individually wrapped in its own protective sturdy carton, then both cartons will be gathered and secured together in a large global parcel. The shipment will be made via insured tracked delivery, signature on receipt, and full insurance.
