The work depicts the iconic allegorical figure bearing a gigantic beer stein, in a visually striking composition that recalls Liberty aesthetics and the great European advertising billboards of the early twentieth century.
The poster is based on a famous subject drawn by Plinio Codognato, one of the most respected Italian illustrators active in advertising and commercial graphics.
Thanks to the intense colors, dark background, and the extraordinary stage presence of the subject, this poster makes an ideal decorative piece for collectors, lovers of historical advertising graphics, breweries, venues and interiors furnished in vintage style.
