Suggestive Soviet propaganda manifesto taken from the famous “ROSTA Window No. 148,” conceived in 1920 by Vladimir Mayakovsky.
Note: this is a period reissue produced in the 1950s with the printing techniques of the time, now very rare and replaced by digital methods.
The work belongs to the renowned production of the “ROSTA Windows,” posters characterized by essential imagery, vivid colors, and incisive texts, conceived during the Russian Civil War to transmit political messages in a direct and easily understandable way.
The text invites continuing the fight against the White Guards and General Wrangel until the definitive consolidation of the red flag. The composition presents the typical graphic language of Soviet avant-garde: caricatured figures, primary colors, and scenes organized in a narrative sequence.
A 1950s reissue of notable decorative impact and historical interest, ideal for collectors of Soviet propaganda, Russian avant-garde, constructivism, the USSR, and 20th-century political posters.
Conditions: the poster shows evident signs of time and use. There is a vertical tear of about 20 cm in the upper central part and a second tear of about 5 cm in the upper right part. There are also creases, small marginal tears, yellowing, and edge wear, as clearly documented by the photographs. The defects are disclosed and form an integral part of the description.
The work will be carefully packaged and shipped in protective packaging.
