1983.- Studied Art at the Institute of Modern Art in Málaga (Spain) where she completed her degree three years later with a grade of nine out of ten.
1999.- Continued training at the Hemiprisma Art workshop of the renowned Málaga painter Javier Navarta in Vélez Málaga.

ANA RUIZ is a Spanish visual artist born in 1967 in Nerja / Costa del Sol (Andalusia - Spain).
This painter in her artistic journey has left a deep mark of restlessness in the eyes of those who are more observant, placing several of her works in countries such as Greece, Portugal, Italy, England, Ireland and Spain. Using a wide range of mixed techniques, making seamless transitions between acrylic and oil, achieving different and impressive textures on canvases or boards.

After years of seeking her own style, she developed a distinctive and singular way of creating, characterized by applying an alternative color palette according to the work’s requirement, sometimes strong and vigorous and other times soft and delicate. The subject matter of her paintings is diverse, simple and notable; all are united by the painting technique, sometimes forming layered textures that draw the viewer deep into their thoughts.
This is one of the reasons this notable painter is gradually becoming the favorite of many buyers and collectors from several countries.
Her artistic journey includes contributions to the principles of active color, recognized by some painters in her immediate circle. She signs all her works on the front and provides a certificate of authenticity, with the date of creation, technique, dimensions and signature.
