Longchamp dinner service (24 pieces), Grès du Marais collection, circa 1970 – LOT 1

Superb 24-piece dinner service from the famous French manufacturer Longchamp (Bourgogne). With its ochre-brown flamed glaze featuring concentric circles and its rustic-chic speckled look typical of the seventies, it is fully representative of the Grès du Marais collection.

Stamp details and authenticity: Each piece is signed on the back with the square stamp of the manufacturer depicting the famous galloping horse. Authenticity and quality of craftsmanship are guaranteed by the official inscriptions integrated into the stamp:
- "DÉCOR INALTÉRABLE": the assurance of a glaze highly resistant to time and to washing.
- "PEINT À LA MAIN": indicating the care given to finishes and the unique nuances of each gradient.
- "FRANCE": period French manufacture.
- The platter bears the model number inscribed in relief in the mass (mold no. 1646).

Condition: Excellent overall condition, very good glaze shine, no major cracks. Ideal for daily use (very robust material, perfectly suited for modern use thanks to its inalterable decor).
