Italian artist who resides in Sicily.

The work arises from a gestural and layered painting process, in which color is allowed to flow freely over the surface. Glazes, drips and sedimentations build a vibrant material, capable of evoking depth, immersion and memory.
The colors interweave, generating an intense and organic composition, suspended between abstraction and inner landscape. Each layer preserves the trace of the gesture and makes the work unique and non-reproducible.
Color is the core of my painting research.
Each work arises from a deep relationship with the chromatic matter, with its way of expanding, overlapping, absorbing and transforming over time.
Through color I try to give shape to interior states, emotional transitions and memories that do not always find words. I am interested in its ability to change the weight of things: to transform fragility into presence, suspension into intensity, depth into visual energy.
In every work I want color not only to be seen, but felt: like a living trace, able to relate to the gaze and to the interiority of the viewer.
