Meissen - Platter - Porcelain

Magnificent large oval fish-serving platter in Meissen hard-paste porcelain, in the Blue Onion (Zwiebelmuster) pattern — onion motif with flowers and a central basket. Hand-painted in cobalt blue under-glaze. Mark: blue crossed swords on the underside, with size and painter numbers. Era: 1970–1980. Condition: excellent. No chips, no cracks, no signs of wear. Retains the original glaze’s shine.
