For sale is a rare original exhibition poster issued by the renowned Galerie Bruno Bischofberger in Zurich on the occasion of the exhibition “SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT” in 2012.
The poster features Jean-Michel Basquiat’s work “Discography One” (1983). The work is a characteristic example of Basquiat’s intense engagement with jazz and bebop, combining the names of legendary musicians such as Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie with song titles, handwritten notations and his unmistakable, expressive visual language.
