I earned my degree in scenography in Rome, with top marks, and early on I worked extensively as a set decorator in various theatrical and television productions. This activity gave me productive painting skills for my artworks. I develop sensitivity to the figure of the woman I portray in all her facets, conveying both her strength and great fragility, using sandy texture and resin. Resin as a symbol of water, the vital element from which we are protected since the maternal womb, but sometimes also suffocated. I call it the icy lava, which fossilizes and freezes the present moment. The works executed exclusively in oil are from the "Bad Girl" and "Bad Boy" series, in which I show a strong, transgressive, and sensual woman/man. Armchair is the most recent series and features my beloved armchair as the protagonist, where the models relate to it. Today I am a television production designer, and I keep my love for projects fused with emotion, which I strive to express in all fields.
