JP Art, Reaching Beyond, a 40 × 50 cm sculptural mixed-media canvas in green, turquoise and bronze tones, produced in 2020+ as an original, hand-signed work showing a human torso with a separate reaching hand, originating from the Netherlands and in good condition.
Description from the seller
Reaching Beyond is a sculptural mixed-media artwork by JP Art, in which a human torso and a separate reaching hand protrude from the canvas.
The weathered green, turquoise, and bronze tones give the relief the appearance of oxidized bronze. Because of the strong three-dimensional build, the piece clearly changes with the lighting; especially the shadows of the body and the hand create additional depth and movement.
The open space between the figure and the hand forms an important part of the composition and gives the work a sense of distance, longing, and contact.
The artwork is executed on canvas and measures 40 × 50 cm. The piece is supplied with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
The interior-setting photos are intended solely as mood impressions. Colors may differ slightly from the original work due to photography, lighting, and monitor settings.
