Interior: The pages are generally excellent/good, with some physiological browning and marginal water stains due to age, which do not at all impair readability or the beauty of the graphics. No wormholes or missing text.
Binding: Solid and securely bound. The leather shows a beautiful antique patina with partial and natural signs of wear, slight abrasions to the boards and to the spine-ends consistent with the age of the object, which enhance its historic charm.

A refined example of the Officium Beatae Mariae Virginis printed in Antwerp in 1680 by the legendary Ex Officina Plantiniana, under the direction of the widow and heirs of the famous printer Balthasar Moretus.
This Book of Hours, structured according to the reform of Pius V and the subsequent modifications of Urban VIII, represents a perfect example of seventeenth-century Flemish typographic mastery.
The title page is printed in red and black ink and is embellished with an engravers vignette depicting the Virgin Mary in glory among the angels. The inner text is enriched with numerous headpieces, tailpieces, and full-page copper engravings of the highest artistic quality.
