I create paintings using acrylic colors and thousands of small pieces of recycled paper: everyday paper is transformed into art instead of ending up in the garbage.

This work draws inspiration from the issue of dog abandonment. It is an exhortation to adopt the dogs that fill the kennels.

To love and respect animals is to love and respect nature, to love and respect ourselves.

The surface features small reliefs and I enjoy stroking it, feeling it...
I also use acrylic resin on the surface, which gives a glossy finish and protects the colors from sunlight and dust.

Each work is securely packaged, wrapped and protected for shipping worldwide, with the Certificate of Authenticity included.
I use the courier provided directly by Catawiki.
A tracking number will be provided for the shipment.

This piece will be shipped without a frame and without a stretcher as the work will be shipped rolled. The canvas is larger than the painted dimensions because the greater surface will be useful and necessary to be stretched on a frame.

Born in 1974 I am self-taught.

After an initial period devoted to sculpture there was a long stop of almost twenty years. Since December 2014 I resumed with the "two dimensions" for reasons of time and space, leaving sculpture and dedicating myself to acrylic paintings.

I love painting abstract landscapes, but recently I am pushing myself to paint faces of people, both imaginary and actually existing.

For me painting is "locking time" at that exact moment; my painting is often a faded memory and therefore my works are "worn, eroded by time". Sometimes my paintings depict corners of walls also eroded by time, with moss and mushrooms that – over time – grow on the surface.
The relentless passage of time is the main theme of my works.

Coming from a wonderful experience with clay manipulation, I love sculpture, the third dimension, the sense of touch and my paintings are often characterized by reliefs clearly perceptible to both touch and the naked eye.

In this recent period, after several years during which my works were made from pieces of recycled paper forming figures, I am pushing myself to explore Optical Art where I use painted wooden discs arranged in lines and grids repeated with mathematical precision that up close seem to form a colorful abstract painting but the further you move away the more a figure emerges, drawn by many painted wooden discs.

Violence against women is a theme that characterizes almost all my works when I reproduce portraits of women, precisely to give them a voice when they do not have the strength or courage to report that they are not the dolls of their partners and cannot be mistreated or worse, victims of violence.
