Maryse Coin - L'éclat turquoise

My name is Maryse Coin, born in 1957, I am a French self-taught artist and I live in Niort (79).
Passionate about color and texture, I explore various styles ranging from abstract expressionism, action painting, to highly realistic academic painting. I use different media: acrylic, oil, collage.
My works are in private collections, notably in Europe, the United States and Morocco.
I have participated in numerous exhibitions and fairs: Deauville, Paris, Perpignan. Marrakech, Florence, Bellano.
This oil painting depicts a passerine with an intense turquoise-blue plumage, perched on a branch adorned with small green berries.
The bird, in the foreground, immediately draws the eye thanks to the striking contrast between its vibrant blue plumage, the black patch on its throat, and its red eyes with bright reflections.
The brushwork provides a fine texture to the feathers and to the wood of the branch.
A background blended in forest green and olive tones creates depth and highlights the main subject.
The work is signed by the artist in the bottom right corner: M. Coin, as well as on the back.
