Description from the seller
Handmade design lamp in a Nordic style, with a sculptural and organic form.
With a height of 35 cm and a width of 25 cm, the lamp has a subdued yet clear presence.
The design aligns with the Scandinavian design history of the 20th century, in particular the modernism of the 1940s–1960s, in which light was seen as a carrier of atmosphere and natural materials were preferred over decoration. The flowing lines and the use of wood reference the humanist approach of designers such as Alvar Aalto and contemporaries, where functionality and emotion come together.
Each lamp is handmade, giving the object an artisanal character and distinguishing it from mass production. This makes the lamp not only a source of light but also a small sculptural design object within the interior.
