Classic Frisian wooden skates. Almost 100 years old.
Nooitgedagt and Sons Ltd from IJlst

They consist of a wooden footbed and a metal glide-iron (blade).
The skates are strapped under one’s own shoes with the leather straps.
This model was very common in the Netherlands until about 1950.
This is the type of skate used for the famous Elfstedentocht.

Complete with the leather straps in good condition.
Very decorative set.

Firma Nooitgedagt en Zn uit Ijlst

Ze bestaan uit een houten voetbed en een metalen glij-ijzer.
De schaatsen worden onder de eigen schoenen gebonden met de leren riemen.
Dit model was tot ongeveer 1950 heel gebruikelijk in Nederland.
Op deze schaatsen werd de beroemde elfstedentocht mee gereden.

Compleet met de lederen riemen in een goede staat.
Zeer decoratieve set.
