A remarkable piece of religious jewellery, this double-sided silver cross combines traditional Orthodox iconography with exceptional attention to detail. Its two faces reveal different sacred scenes, making the pendant intriguing from every angle.
One side presents the Crucifixion of Christ, surrounded by finely engraved Orthodox inscriptions and religious details. The reverse side features a powerful depiction of the Virgin Mary, accompanied by several saints, creating a deeply symbolic composition associated with faith, protection and spiritual strength.
The contrasting polished silver edges and darker recessed areas beautifully emphasize the relief, giving the figures remarkable depth and an almost icon-like appearance.
