Hanging lamp - Wood, Ceramic, Brass

Elegant vintage chandelier with five lamp arms. The central shaft consists of turned dark brown wood and ends at the top in a classic hanging eyelet. The curved arms are made of brass (or brass-colored metal) and each carry a glass shade. The five glass shades are bulbous in form and feature a distinctive, mesh-like structuring. The color transitions from light white/milk glass at the top to a warm brown tint at the lower edge – a typical design feature of the 1970s/1980s. The chandelier reads as high-quality and stylistically sits between Mid-Century and Retro. It is excellent as a focal point above the dining table, in a living room, or in an entryway. Condition: Very good to good preserved condition. The glass shades are intact, the structuring clearly visible. Brass parts and the wooden shaft show age-related patina and light signs of wear, which add charm to the piece. The functionality of the socket has not been tested (classic E27 sockets to be expected).
