AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The design is of the “three-quarter plate” type. Unlike Swiss calibers, divided into elegant separate bridges (barrel, wheel, etc.), here most of the wheel train and the winding drum are hidden beneath a single solid gold plate, which covers about 75% of the area.
Type of layout: judging by the absence of solid traditional repair wheels on the top plate and characteristic holes, this is a mechanism with a key-wind layout and a key-set transfer. The crown key is inserted directly into the square axles at the rear or on the dial side. Stroke control: the classic open balance wheel is visible (Co-Axial balance) with a regulator for precision regulation. The plate itself beneath the balance is often decorated with hand engraving, which is the calling card of the English masters of the late 19th century.
The case is made of 935 silver.
