Gemberpot or bonbonnière in lead crystal from Bohemia, Czechia, an antique-style piece in the Biedermeier style dating to 1950–1960, with a height of 42 cm, width 11 cm, depth 14 cm, and weight 1.9 kg, model Gemberpot, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
A tall lead crystal ginger jar or bonbonniere, in the antique Biedermeier style. Probably a mid-1960s reproduction produced in Bohemia (for cleaning there was still a remnant of a sticker present).
The piece is literally splendid, a sharp diamond profile around which is alternating with 4 large "eyes" to make the contents more visible. The finial on the lid after the knot in a faceted handle; the 8-sided foot raises the piece so that wherever you place it it draws attention. Very beautiful for enthusiasts.
The +/- dimensions:
H 42 x L11 x W 11 Total size
H 25 x D 14 x 11 (L and W foot) cm bowl
H 17 x D 14 cm lid
Weight 1.9 kg ex packaging
The condition is exceptionally good, aside from a few micro chips on the bottom edge of the foot the entire piece is mint.
We invite you to view the photos closely (zoom in if needed). The photos were taken in (sunny) daylight to show the piece as close as possible to its original state. The photos accurately reflect the condition and are part of the description.
After purchase the parts will be individually packed for this box-in-box registered and insured shipment. We ship with Smart Shipping within Europe excluding the Spanish and Portuguese islands.
After you have paid for your purchase it will be shipped within 3 working days in accordance with Catawiki's rules. We monitor your purchase via T&T and advise you to do so as well, especially for the delivery of the parcel.
