Refined oil painting on plywood by the Piedmontese painter Vito Cerutti, active in the second half of the 20th century.
The work, small in format (9x13 cm), stands out for a notable sensitivity in rendering atmospheric phenomena and for a rich, textured painting technique. Through short, dense, and layered brushstrokes, the artist effectively conveys the impression of a snowfall in progress, which envelops the profile of the hills in the background and the bare tree in the foreground.
