Oil on canvas

The vertical composition presents a close-up of a young face with dark bangs and long hair that falls to one side. The eyes appear narrowed or almost closed, with the brow slightly furrowed; the expression is one of concentration, tension, or inward contemplation. A long pointed-shaped earring hangs from the right ear.
The volume of the face is built with saturated color planes (oranges, pinks, yellows, blues, and violets) that fragment the anatomy without realistic modeling. The neck and upper torso show a high collar in dark, bluish tones. The brushwork is dense and gestural; the visible impasto prioritizes materiality and chromatic vibration over descriptive detail. The background is resolved into patches of color that do not offer clear spatial depth.
It remains within the same line as the rest of the series: contemporary figuration rooted in expressionist-Fauvist origins. Color remains the true protagonist. The expression of the frown and narrowed eyes introduces a more contained and tense psychological charge than open frontal stares or the ecstasy of a head thrown back.
