Ceramiche San Polo, Attr. - Sculpture, Figura satirica anni ‘50/‘60 da parete - 22 cm - Ceramic

Stravagant and rare sculpture/wall plaque in polychrome glazed ceramic, created by the famous Venetian artistic manufactory San Polo.
The work depicts an accordionist with a figurative, grotesque and surrealist taste, laid against a red tiled panel background. The figure is characterized by clothing with bright stripes (blue/white and green/white), a white stiff collar, and a conspicuous yellow hat.
Typical of the irreverent, avant-garde, and erotically satirical style found in some San Polo productions of the era.

Conditions: Generally excellent conservation condition, glossy glaze and free from evident restorations (refer to the attached photos for details on patina and state of conservation).
