Group of 3 solid wood cherubs, hand-carved, depicted while carrying baskets and offerings.

Richly worked, fully three-dimensional sculptures, with drapery, carved hair, and bases decorated with volutes. Beautiful brown patina and signs of aging consistent with the objects' age.

The back and bottom of the bases, visible in the photographs, clearly show the woodwork.

Conditions as shown in the photos: showing signs of wear, small chips, cracks, and traces of previous interventions/restorations. I do not have documentation that would allow me to certainty attribute age, provenance, or author; therefore they are offered as ancient/vintage sculptures not certified.

The three subjects are part of a larger series of coordinated cherubs, also available separately or in a group.
