Kienzle - 1900-1949

Beautifully preserved and perfectly working men's pocket watch from the renowned German quality brand Kienzle. This mechanical watch dates from the 1940s to the early 1950s and is equipped with a high-quality anti-magnetic movement with fifteen rubies, also referred to as 15 rubies, which ensures minimal friction and very accurate timekeeping. The watch has a solid case made of chrome-plated or nickel-plated brass with a diameter of 5.1 centimeters and a total weight of 63 grams. The cream-colored dial exudes a refined Art Deco style and is equipped with gold-colored Arabic numerals, gold-colored hands and a distinctive small seconds subdial at the 6 o'clock position. At the underside of the dial the authentic origin inscription 'Made in Germany' is visible. The back of the case features an elegant vertical striped pattern that is decorative and also, at the time, served for extra grip.
