This work depicts a woman whose body almost exceeds the boundaries of the frame surrounding her. She holds a vase between her hands, a precious object she seems to be trying to place somewhere, without finding the space that suits it.

The vase here symbolizes a gift, a talent, or something unique that she carries within herself. She knows she possesses this richness, but she does not yet know where to deposit it, nor what place to give it.

The frame then becomes a metaphor for the limits imposed by the environment, social expectations, or the roles into which a person may be drawn. The woman appears too large for this space, as if what resides in her surpassed the possibilities her surroundings offer.

The work thus evokes the difficulty of finding one's place when one has an identity, sensitivity, or potential that does not seem to fit the frame in which one evolves.

Yet, she does not seem defeated. She is simply in a moment of search: she already carries what makes her unique. She still has to find the place where this can fully exist.

This work is part of an artistic exploration around identity, the place of women, individual potential, and the tension between what one carries inside and the frames into which we try to fit us.
