The dynamic motif was designed by the well-known German artist Walter Maurer (famous, among other things, for his work on the legendary BMW Art Cars).
The artwork captures the golden era of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). It features the stocky Audi V8 quattro with racing number 22, piloted by Hans-Joachim “Strietzel” Stuck, in a tight duel under the Dunlop Bridge against Mercedes-Benz (190E Evo) and BMW (M3 E30) rivals.
