Frans Coppens (1895–1975) was a Belgian painter who was mainly active in Flanders. He is also described in the art world as the “metaphysician of the Flemish landscape.” He was active in the Aalstersche Kunstkring.

An incredibly soothing work that has something mystical about it.

At the bottom there should be a few small spots that would need restoration, but even without restoration it is an impressive piece.

Frans Coppens (1895–1975) was een Belgische kunstschilder die hoofdzakelijk actief was in Vlaanderen. Hij wordt in de kunstwereld ook wel omschreven als de "metafysicus van het Vlaamse landschap"
Hij was actief in de Aalstersche Kunstkring. 

Ontzettend rustgevend werk dat iets mystieks heeft. 

Aan de onderkant zouden een paar kleine plekjes moeten worden gerestaureerd maar ook zonder restauratie is het een indrukwekkend werk.
