Monumental bath towels in Flemish linen, a highly prestigious element of Italian wedding trousseaux from the first half of the 20th century. At the time, these towels, so large, were considered true luxury items, destined for special occasions or important guests.
The antique linen has extraordinary absorbency, and unlike modern sponges, it takes up very little space and becomes increasingly softer as the years pass.
The size excluding the fringe is 60x110 cm
The towels are part of the wedding trousseau and have never been used
