In this series of acrylics on canvas (112 × 112 cm), the tree becomes a symbol that transcends its status as a landscape and transforms into a metaphor of memory, rootedness, and regenerative capacity. Isolated in the center of each composition, it emerges as a living presence that speaks with a space built from color planes, graphic marks, and ornamental references.

Far from a naturalistic representation, these works place nature in a hybrid territory where the organic coexists with the geometric and the decorative. The canopies, rendered with a free, material gesturality, contrast with backgrounds structured by chromatic fields and graphic motifs that evoke both ornamental tradition and the contemporary visual language. This encounter between order and spontaneity creates a tension that gives the paintings a powerful plastic energy.

Color plays an essential role in constructing meaning. The oranges, turquoises, blues and magentas do not describe a concrete place, but an inner landscape where emotion prevails over representation.
