Cyril Keller - Glutfunken

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From about 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time my enthusiasm for colors, forms and creative expression developed – the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path into abstract art. This opened up a completely new creative world for me, which continues to inspire me to this day. Since then I have dedicated myself with great passion to abstract painting and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am particularly fascinated by the unique shapes and structures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love constantly evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination and bring them joy in the long term.

The most beautiful thing about abstract art for me is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting and lets it work in a completely individual way because of it. It is exactly this the connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
