Cyril Keller - What It Feels Like

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s, when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes, and creative expression developed—the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, which continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have been passionately dedicated to abstract painting, continually experimenting with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures that arise through squeegee techniques. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity, and a spirit of experimentation come together. As a self-taught artist I love to constantly develop and find new possibilities to convey emotions and dynamism on the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, and makes it resonate in a uniquely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
