Glass art woven vase by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz, made at Tarnowiec Glass Factory in Poland, dating from the 1980s, height 35 cm, foot diameter 12 cm, neck diameter 4.5 cm, weight 1 kg, colours black and white, in unused condition.

Beautiful pointed glass art: a woven vase by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz from the Tarnowiec glass factory.
1980s of the last century.
From the Polish designer Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz, 1924 - 2002, who among other things founded the design center of the glassworks "Julia" in Piechowice in the 1950s, designed the lighting glassworks "Nysa" in Pieńsk in the 1960s, worked as a designer at the cooperative "Lumet" in Poznań—the founder and initiator—and subsequently for many years artistic director of the experimental glass factory of the Institute for Glass and Ceramics in Kraków (now ŁUKASIEWICZ – ICiMB), and in the 1980s was the chief designer of the Glassworks "Tarnowiec" in Tarnowiec.
