Subject: A landscape view depicting a watercourse with tall trees and a small arched bridge in the background.
Technique: Oil painting. Support: Plywood panel.
. The back of the support is clean, free of autograph writings, paper labels or pigment stamps.
Dimensions of the panel: 39.5 x 30 cm.
Signature: Signed at the lower right with a monogram or abbreviation readable as '/Mich' (in Latin characters) or 'Мих' (in Cyrillic characters).
The author has not been identified
Era and style: Approximately 1930/1940.
The constructive materials (the nature of the plywood panel used as the artist's support) and the painting style – characterized by a concise application with bold brushstrokes and a palette based on natural, desaturated tones – are consistent with the production of European landscape painting around the late 1930s to early 1940s.
Painting: The painted layer appears stable. Subtle signs of time consistent with the period and with the wooden support are visible, with no color loss or significant lifting.
Additional notes: The panel is fixed to the frame at the back with metal cabinetmaker's nails. There are residues of old paper/glued tape along the rear margins of the closing frame.
