Description from the seller
Iconic centerpiece of 20th-century design, the Lounge Chair & Ottoman designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller is offered here in a 1960s edition, produced under license for the European market.
This vintage model features the classic ample proportions, with a shell in rosewood-veneered plywood and a removable black leather upholstery.
The set presents in excellent condition, with no scratches or defects; the wood has a beautiful patina, glossy and natural, testifying to its authenticity and history. The leather shows a tone consistent with its age, lending character and depth. Not visible, but for accuracy I note that the seat cushion has what is most likely a zipper repair; accessing it is difficult but nothing that compromises the aesthetics and design of the piece.
Shipped via express courier in a fully insured wooden crate for the value and with a GPS tracker.
